Dear Jazz Family -

I received this email from Alex Heyer's mom this morning. Please read and
send your prayers out to the family.

For you new Jazz A singers, Alex was a big part of the 'family' last
year. He was a beautiful singer, loyal friend and inspirational person.

I think we need to respect the fact that he's still pretty sick and
is requesting no visitors for now. Deborah suggests sending email, text
messages, or cards at home for him…so, show him how much you love him
and inundate him with DP Jazz spirit, OK?

I'll keep you posted as news comes back to me.!

I will let him know.

Alex is at Cottage Hospital- He cannot talk though so It makes it tough to
call or visit. He likes email or maybe a card in the mail. Our address
is 95
Willow Springs Lane # 101 Goleta. Ca. 93117
If you can believe it he was playing his guitar in the Intensive Care Unit
What a Champ! :)
Alex will be weak for a bit they say 1-2 months. He will likely get out of
the hospital Sat-Monday. I am not sure how he feels about visitors... Maybe
after he gets home?
Talk to you soon-Keep the prayers going.
Sincerely
Deborah Heyer
