Dear Family and Friends:

 

The sounds of the holidays abound, but nothing is quite as beautiful as
the Dos Pueblos High School's "2006 Festival of Voices Holiday Concert."


 

Our all-women ensemble, "Bella Voce", made their first official public
performance on Friday night, as did our new all-men ensemble (yet to be
officially named, but referred to as "Bella Manly").  

 

The concert opens with the magnificent sounds of our Jazz Combo and
features, throughout the evening, student artists on the vibes, piano,
bass guitar, saxophone, oboe, and violin. The mass choir sets the pace
for the evening. Jazz "B" opens the concert after intermission with
three A Cappella songs and Jazz "A" carries it away with their holiday
set in the second half of the show.

 

I invite you to come and celebrate the season with us tonight at 7:00 at
the Marjorie Luke Theater. Tickets may be purchased at the door. They
are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors (over 65). There
will be goodies to purchase prior to the concert, and at intermission,
and 50-50 raffle you won't want to miss! (On Friday, one lucky woman
went home with $500! Tonight it could be YOU!)
