To all the Ike Jenkins Jazz Choir Friends,
 
It is the end of an era.  Ike Jenkins, a beloved fixture in the  Santa 
Barbara music education scene for over 35 years, has announced his  retirement.
 
The last concert featuring Ike Jenkins' Dos Pueblos High School Jazz Choir  
will be this Saturday, May 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Santa Barbara High School  
Theater.  As a special treat, this concert will also feature a performance  by 
the Ike Jenkins All-Star Band, a collection of Ike Jenkins' alumni (from  La 
Cumbre Junior High, Santa Barbara High and Dos Pueblos High School), who  have 
made music their career.  This talented alumni band has come  together to 
perform just for this concert.  
 
Don't miss Ike Jenkins' Opus.  Please come to the Generations of  Jazz  
Benefit Concert, Saturday, May 27, 7:00 p.m. at Santa Barbara High  School.
